Estimate King is operated by NorthStar Business Operations Services, Inc., a California corporation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for business users, including contractors and service businesses such as electricians, plumbers, landscapers, builders, and similar professionals.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old, that you have the authority to enter into these Terms, and that you will use the Service only for lawful business purposes.
Estimate King is a software tool that helps users format and present estimates and related documents using automated systems and artificial intelligence.
The Service is intended as a formatting and presentation tool only. It is not an estimating firm, construction consultant, engineering service, accounting service, legal service, or project management service.
The Service does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, legality, commercial reasonableness, or suitability of any estimate, pricing, scope of work, quantity, labor assumption, material assumption, code requirement, schedule, or project detail.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to process and reformat your estimates. AI is imperfect and may produce outputs that are inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect.

Our system is designed to preserve your original scope, pricing, and content without adding materials, warranties, guarantees, or scope not present in your original. However, as with any AI-powered tool, errors will occur and the output may not match your original in every detail.
The Company does not guarantee that any output is accurate, complete, reliable, merchantable, fit for a particular purpose, or suitable for client delivery or contractual use.
You acknowledge and agree that any output generated by the Service is an automated result that requires your review.
You will not rely on any output as the sole basis for pricing, bids, proposals, contracts, scopes of work, client communications, project planning, purchasing, staffing, scheduling, compliance decisions, or other business decisions without your own independent review and verification.
Any use of output from the Service is at your sole risk.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, editing, approving, and deciding whether to use any output generated by the Service.
You agree to review every estimate generated by the Service before sending it to any client, customer, or third party. Before sending any estimate, you must independently verify all material terms including pricing, quantities, scope, exclusions, assumptions, labor, and materials.
You acknowledge that the final estimate or document is your document, not ours. Once you download, send, or otherwise use an output from the Service, you accept full responsibility for its contents.
When downloading a PDF from the Service, you will be asked to confirm that you understand the output may contain errors and that you will review it before use.
The quality of outputs depends on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide. You are solely responsible for all documents, text, numbers, and other information you upload or enter. The Company is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information you provide.
The Service does not provide construction, engineering, architectural, legal, tax, accounting, insurance, financial, or professional estimating advice. Nothing generated by the Service constitutes professional advice.
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your login credentials, and notify us of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You may upload documents, estimates, and related materials (“Your Content”). You retain ownership of Your Content.
By using the Service, you grant the Company a non-exclusive license to store, process, and transform Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use Your Content to train or fine-tune AI models.
You may not upload content that violates the law, infringes rights of others, contains malware, or is fraudulent or deceptive.
The Service may currently be offered for free. We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscriptions, or per-estimate pricing in the future. Any fees will be disclosed before charges occur.
All software, technology, and branding associated with the Service are owned by the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”
The Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and accuracy of outputs.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, project cost overruns, contract disputes, or client claims arising from your use of the Service or any output generated by the Service.
Total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in California. You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive participation in class actions. Small claims court remains available where permitted by law.
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
